Materials and Installation

All our steel posts are hot-dip galvanised in line with AS/NZS 4680:2006, ensuring long-lasting protection. For post installation, a minimum concrete grade of 25MPa is recommended for the post holes. This guide simplifies the process based on a 1m high wall with 200 x 75 x 1800mm timber sleepers.

Essential Drainage

Proper drainage is critical to prevent water retention behind your retaining wall. Ensure the installation of drainage ag-pipe, non-woven geotextile fabric, a waterproof plastic membrane, and gravel behind the wall. All drainage should be installed following AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing & Drainage standards and other relevant guidelines to maintain structural integrity and longevity.
